Designations of Gifts to Eagleville
Hospital
Patient Emergency Fund
Some men and women arrive at Eagleville homeless,
alienated from their families, owning only the clothes they
are wearing. This Fund provides eyeglasses, personal care items,
clothing, shoes, and transportation costs.
Educational Program
Patients often lack basic educational skills. Donations
are sought for our award-winning education program where
patients receive testing and tutoring to help them prepare for their General Education Development (GED)
test. Each GED test costs $55. Certified teachers and
trained, supervised, dedicated volunteers provide
individualized teaching. Between 1985 and 2006, 580 patients
received their GED diploma.
Vocational Training Program
The inpatient
Vocational Training Program has helped hundreds of men and
women develop workplace skills to secure meaningful
employment. The Vocational Training program
continues on an outpatient basis as patients transition back
to the community.

Serenity Garden
The Eagleville
Serenity Garden
provides an opportunity for patients, staff and visitors to recognize
special individuals, memorialize family members and friends,
and take pleasure in the beauty of nature. Donations are
sought to defray the cost of planting trees, plants and
flowers, installing benches, paving the walkways, as well as
other garden needs and annual maintenance.

Research Fund
Both Eagleville Hospital and Riverside Care, Inc. are
accountable to funding agencies and individuals. To
accurately report on the “success” of our treatment services
and associated programs, staff and volunteers contact
Eagleville patients and Riverside clients that have ‘PC’d’
(reached Phase Complete status in their treatment program.).
Continuing sobriety, employment, job-related training,
continuing education, community activity, and family
re-unification are some of the areas documented through
follow-up contact. Support for Outcomes Based Research and
other specific research activities are critical in helping
Eagleville Hospital and Riverside Care, Inc. document their
success in treating addictive individuals.
Friends of Eagleville Association
The Eagleville Hospital Alumni Association has been
dissolved and re-established as the Friends of Eagleville
Association. The Association is open to anyone interested in
recovery and willing to support Eagleville Hospital and
Riverside Care, Inc. If you are interested in joining the
Friends of Eagleville Association, please contact the
Director of Development at (610) 635-7457. We invite former
